Video transcript

This is the transcript from the video above, it needs tiding up a little as its from YouTube subs.

Hi guys it's Jamie from SuperGrowth.com and in this video I'm going to show you how to use my eBay keyword generator and what this basically does is, it allows you to create an almost unlimited number of longtail variants that your main keywords. So you know how when you use a search form on website's these days, you start typing, and then it will give you an auto completion thing like an auto suggest. So basically, what this does this tool does is it goes away to eBay in the background and then it it basically mines all of those suggestions and brings them back into this tool for you.

So if your main niche is gaming then it will go and it will enter gaming a and then all the suggestions, such as gaming, armchairs or other gaming accessories they'll all appear and it will grab those and bring them back into this application. Now I'll go over the settings, but basically the settings really the only control the how deep you want to mine, basically for these long tails, so you may just want a few hundred or you may literally want thousands, because it can give you some really good insight into buyers behavior, what people are searching for.

You know you might sell gaming stuff and you might mine these long tails and realise okay, people are actually searching for something completely different than what I'm selling. So let's go through some of these settings so basically, here now this is the number of seconds the millisecond or milliseconds to pause between basically sending the different characters off to to the eBay suggests. If you've only doing a few keywords, that's fine as it is. If you're doing a lot keywords, then I would bump that up quite a bit. Now the settings down here, this is basically to filter out any keywords you don't want and to control the depth of the mine. So if you want to just keep generating keywords from keywords indefinitely and just click that, now it'll just keep going and go and go in so that basically as soon as a keyword comes back, it will use that keyword to generate more long tails from that keyword.

If you want to filter out by regular expression, you can, if you want to exclude certain keywords you can. So if you don't want anything to do with laptops you just put laptops in there. Now this is important, one keyword suggestion character depth so as we're going off to the ebay search suggests we put in gaming a and it gives us a list. You know gaming, our chairs gaming accessories. If you have it set to two it'll do gaming a, but it will also do gaming a a and then a B, AC, ad, a E and then once it's got all the way to the end. of the alphabet it'll start working its way from zero to nine and then once it's done, that you'll then go to be a b b b c BD and you can see that'll give you a very deep keyword mine.

So hopefully that makes sense now I'll show you it in action. I will do just a quick one keyword character depth of one. So let's see what people are searching for an eBay now, once that's done I'll show you how these sets work down here now. Basically, what these sets do is when you have a set of results that come back, you can mark them as the initial set, and you can view the initial set after you've marked them now. If a new product comes out - and you run - you know a long tail mine for it, we'll just long-term mine for your niche or whatever you can then for the results set that you get back, you can run a comparison of that result set against whatever you've set as the initial set - and it will show you the differences, so that's really good for finding new buyer trends for brand new products, so there might be products that have just entered your market. That you're, not even aware of and this tool will show you those new buyer search trends, so hopefully that makes sense. Now just give a quick demonstration of the a deeper mine. So you can see now how we're doing a V AC, ad blah blah and it's a much it's much slower, but it's a much deeper mine. Okay! That'S it thanks for watching guys!
